INCLUDE: Building Pathways to Employment and Social Inclusion

The INCLUDE project was designed with the overarching aim of improving access to employment and social inclusion for vulnerable people, especially NEETs, refugees, migrants, Roma communities, and long-term unemployed adults, within the context of the modern European labour market, with a strong focus on the service sector.

By addressing barriers to employment through comprehensive training, organisational capacity building, employer engagement, and sustainable partnerships, INCLUDE creates lasting impact across Europe’s most vulnerable communities whilst strengthening the entire ecosystem of inclusive employment support.

Increase Employability

Equipping vulnerable people with essential competences needed for work, including basic vocational skills, digital literacy, job search abilities, communication, and selfconfidence through training courses, IT training, practical stages, and individualised support.

Strengthen Organisations

Building the capacity of VET providers, NGOs, and partner organisations to work effectively with vulnerable groups through training on EU legislation, inclusion, nondiscrimination, and innovative methodologies.

Support Inclusive Employers

Helping employers become more socially responsible by raising awareness about diversity benefits, reducing stereotypes, and providing practical recruitment and retention tools.

Removing Barriers to Entry

The project addresses key obstacles including low education levels, lack of work experience, and language difficulties—particularly critical for Ukrainian refugees entering new labour markets.

Building Sustainable Networks

Strengthening cooperation between employers, VET providers, NGOs, and public authorities creates lasting local and transnational partnerships for inclusive employment.

Creating Transferable Tools

Producing multilingual, practical resources—training courses, guides, and brochures—ensures impact beyond the project’s lifetime, contributing to longterm policy learning.

Ensuring Smooth Transitions

Collaborative approaches prevent early drop-out and facilitate seamless progression from training to sustained employment in the service sector.
